Elon Musk has finally spoken out on his ex-girlfriend Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s ongoing defamation battle. Amber Heard and Elon Musk dated for a year before splitting up.
So, when someone summarized the Depp-Amber suit on Twitter, Musk had something to say about it.

Lex Fridman, a Twitter user under the handle @lexfridman, stated, “My takeaways from Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial: 1. Fame is one hell of a drug (for some). 2. Psychiatrists & lawyers come in drastically varying levels of skill. 3. Lying to millions of people is something humans are capable of. 4. Love can be messy. 5. Mega pint of wine.”

During the trial, Johnny Depp mentioned Elon Musk. Depp was questioned about a text message he made to his former talent agent Christian Carinno about Musk. The actor addressed Heard and Musk’s affair in the communication. But Musk hasn’t spoken anything about it.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, both actors, have sued each other for defamation, saying they were abused before and during their two-year marriage. They dated for a while before getting married in 2015. Their marriage, however, dissolved in 2017. Following the divorce, Heard penned an op-ed for the Washington Post in 2018 about becoming “a public figure symbolizing domestic abuse.” Though Depp was not named by name in the op-end, the previous Oscar nominee claimed it “devastated” his already fading career. Depp also alleged that he was the victim of abuse in the relationship.
Depp sued Heard in March 2019 over an op-ed post she penned in 2018. After failing to have the case dismissed or relocated out of Virginia, Heard countersued for $100 million in 2020.
